Well that's because it IS different! LOL Yep, I was stuck in bed with a bad back today, so I got bored and decided to do what I've been wanting to do for ages now -- clean up the forums a bit. While I removed several boards, not a single post was deleted. Posts have simply been combined/reorganized into other boards, whether pre-existing or new. Also, some sections and boards have simply been renamed.

Below is a breakdown of what happened -- just in case you're looking for something you posted and can't easily find by using the What's the Latest? link at the top. The List of Private and Public Boards has been updated to reflect the following changes:

The Bulletin Board & Cafe Classifieds boards were combined. I removed the separate board for Presto Shops under the Business Directory since the only thing posted there was the Master List, which was moved to the Business Directory > Products board and may be deleted altogether (I'll wait for member opinions on that).
The Organizations & Legal Entities section was combined into the new All About Business > Business & Legal Resources & Info board.
The Selling Online section has been renamed to All About Business.
The Social Media for Business section has been renamed to All About Marketing.
The Selling Online > All About Marketing board has been combined into the appropriate boards under the All About Marketing section.
The Selling Online > Selling Via Your Own Website board was simply renamed to the All About Business > Doing Business on Your Own Website board.
The Selling Online > Presto Pointe board has been deleted and the posts moved to the All About Business > Doing Business on Your Own Website board.
The two Selling Online > Misc. Selling boards have been renamed to General Business Tips & Tutes and General Business Topics under the renamed All About Business section.
The Everything Google board has been deleted and its posts moved to other corresponding boards -- mainly the two General Business boards under All About Business and the All About Marketing > Search Marketing boards.
The following boards previously under Selling Online have been combined into the two General Business boards under the All About Business section: Valuable Selling Tools; Shipping Tools, Tips & Answers; and Product Identification.
The All About Marketing > Search Marketing is new and is where much of the stuff from the Everything Google board went to.
The Social Media for Business > Blogging board was simply renamed to All About Marketing > Blog & Vlog Marketing, which is where the former YouTube board's posts went to before being deleted.
All of the former social media boards (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.) have been combined under All About Marketing > Social Media Marketing.
The former Social Media for Business > Other board was renamed to All About Marketing > General Marketing Topics, Tools, Tips & Tutes.
The General board was renamed to The Cafe Lounge. The only other thing that changed under this section was combining the Get Organized! board into the General Tips for Everyday Life board.

Okay, so are you now thoroughly confused? LOL I wish I could explain the above in a chart format so it MIGHT be easier to follow, but at least the info is there in case anyone needs it. Here's a more general explanation of how things have changed for those who may be confused by the above. LOL Simply keep in mind that things didn't get re-categorized. They simply got combined into fewer boards; many of which now cover a broader range of similar topics so other less-used boards could be removed.

Yes, several boards were removed or renamed, but absolutely no posts were deleted. So, everything is still there. If you browse through the new setup, reading board descriptions, getting a feel for how things are sorted now, you should be able to easily find what you're looking for.

For example, the Everything Google board is gone. It's posts were merged into other boards depending on their topic. SEO-related posts were merged into All About Marketing > Search Marketing and SEO (these would include any Google Shopping related posts). Posts about things like Google Photos are now under All About Business > General Business Tools, Tips & Tutes.

Info related to shipping and other helpful topics are also now under All About Business > General Business Tools, Tips & Tutes. General topics for discussion, updates, and such are under All About Business > General Business Topics. Anything related to social media are now under All About Marketing > Social Media Marketing.

So, as you can see, things should actually be easier to find because they're not so spread out. They're simply combined into the boards you see now -- some are new, some are gone, and some are the same. If it's a more recent post and you're unsure which board it might be under, simply use the Click Here button under the What's the Latest? box above. That's where you'll find ALL of the forum's posts (from all boards) sorted by latest post first.

You can also use the Search feature at the top of a board's page. Of course, if you simply can't find something, I can certainly do my best to help. Simply ask away in this thread (since this Admin thread is locked).
