I was just looking to see if I could add my biz logo to shipping labels on PayPal, but it would seem that option isn't currently available. However, something I've been meaning to do for a long time is customize my payment pages to match my website. Doing so will help ease customers' minds about being taken offsite to complete payment. So, while there, I got the instructions for doing so and, as I usually do for tutorials that I keep in a reference binder, created a Word document for easy reference as I go through the process. It's super easy to do as it basically involves adding image URLs and your preferred colors for the backgrounds and border. For those who'd like to give it a try, I've created and attached a PDF version of the document that you can print up or just view on your screen. Keep in mind that this custom payment page option is only available for those who have a PayPal business account, which is free and should be fairly easy to upgrade to if you don't have one. I like this idea and need to check it out.
I assume the following quote from the directions would mean some place like Photobucket. "For images, we recommend providing an image URL that's stored on a secure (https) server."

I'm not sure if Photobucket is using a secure server or not. I just looked at my account and not even the locked albums are displaying the lock icon. The URL doesn't even show whether it's http:// or https://. However, my Picasa account shows both the https:// and the lock icon.
I use the free version of Photobucket, so maybe they only use secure servers for paying customers? I wouldn't know. Either way, I've recently decided to start using my Picasa account instead, anyway, due to Photobucket's glitchiness and latest server issues that had them down for nearly 24 hours. So at least I know what I link to there will be on a secure server and I have never known Google's servers to go down.
I haven't had a chance to try it out, yet, but do plan to very soon. There are several things I need to get into place for 2016 -- organizing files, updating profiles and ads, getting the purpleirisplaza.com email set up on 1&1, etc. -- as well as getting ready to file taxes later this month. So I'll be sure to add this task to that list.

Yeah, I've been working on my taxes. I mostly organize throughout the year, but I double checked everything and printed off the spreadsheets.
I used to do them all myself, at least until I became a business owner in 1999. Now I have an accountant that puts together all of the excel sheets and submits my taxes online in about 30-45 minutes.

By the way, I found out why we can't add our own biz logo to the shipping labels after asking about it on PayPal's forums. PayPal is the account holder (I believe they use Endicia), so it is their logo that gets displayed and there's no way for us to change it. That makes sense, but it sure would be nice if we could. LOL

Wouldn't this only work if you have one business name.....like for example, I am A Haven Of Treasures on Etsy. My store name on Presto is Treasure Aisle Mercantile. And over on eBay I am just myself....sharon (which I did list 3 things on there today in hopes of some quick cash).
I've investigated this a little in the past, but I'm wondering if we can make it specific to each place we sell on. That would be great if we could.

I haven't had a chance to try it out, yet, so I'm not sure if you can use a custom one for each store. While I've used different names on the different sites I sell on, my main business is Purple Iris Plaza and that's the name I use for everything. For example, my eCrater shop is still The Purple Iris (the original biz name), my Etsy shop is Purple Iris Classics, and my Storenvy shop is Purple Iris Plaza because I consider that my own dot com.
So, Purple Iris Plaza is what is displayed on PayPal invoices and shipping labels and, when I talk about my business (ie, on About pages), I refer to it as Purple Iris Plaza no matter which store it is. Although, I haven't updated my Etsy About page since opening my own shop, but I do make reference to it there.
It's not uncommon for businesses to have a number of different names, having a parent company that the others are subsidiaries of, which is typically due to offering different products or services and/or serving different regions. Basically, my Etsy shop offers only the vintage items, while my eCrater shop offers all of the pre-owned stuff and some new, and my PIP shop offers everything I sell.
Since it's my own dot com that I want to draw attention to, the shop where I offer everything, I have no problem using the PIP name on my PP invoices. Of course, it helps that all of my shops have the same theme with the purple iris logo and matching banners and that I make reference to my main biz name, so it's not all that confusing to customers.

I'm a Haven of Treasures on Etsy. Treasure Aisle Mercantile on Presto and a Haven of Treasures on stupid Bonanza (lol). On eBay I am Sharon you know who.
I guess I could just use Treasure Aisle Mercantile on Paypal but my banner is not the same all across the board. Perhaps I could get Etsy to change my name to Treasure Chest Mercantile or just Treasure Mercantile and possibly use the same banner or similar as on Presto. The only problem with my current banner on Presto is that I believe it would be too large to use on Etsy.
Definitely something to think about as I think it is a good idea to do.

Is just "Treasure Chest" taken? Probably, but that would be a good name if it's available. What you might think of doing is using a single avatar/logo for each of your stores, like I have the purple iris logo. Maybe a treasure chest or something that would fit in a square. Then it wouldn't matter that your banners are different.
