Considering how Google changes its tune so often as it relates to its Shopping tool, I figured it best to have a post just for updated requirements, including links to the taxonomy and other important links. Each time Google changes something, I'll make sure to update the info and links as necessary.
As you can see above, I'll also include the date it was last updated. So, if anyone becomes aware of new changes before I do, please let me know and I'll be sure to get this updated ASAP.

- Find a GTIN (instructions for locating them on the product).
