Did Photobucket leave you in a lurch? Well, here's a list of alternate image hosting sites that I found on ProBoard's support forums. Some are free and some offer embedding as part of a paid plan. I'll include some info for each one (pricing, terms, and features) so you can quickly and easily see which one might work best for your needs:
Fotki -- Paid Membership
We have been supporting hotlinking and taggers for about 20 years. At Fotki you will have the ability to hotlink your media, organize your collections with albums, folders and subfolders and keep full control of your privacy settings. Fotki also:
~ does not have any ads
~ does not sell your information to 3rd party services
~ has much friendly and competitive membership prices
~ has very friendly and helpful human tech support
If you wish to import your media from Photobucket at once, please contact Fotki Customer Support.

Free Image Hosting -- Free
This website will always be 100% free as it is supported by its advertisers. Supports GIF, JPG, BMP and PNG images and photos (maximum filesize is 3000KB -- or 3MB). For them to provide image hosting for free, some images may be compressed and resized. Registration is not required, but creating an account lets you manage your uploads and use other extra features. You can use the site to:
imgbb -- Free
NOTE: This one looks like it might be a module I can add to our little forum site for us to upload images directly to the forums from our computer and the images would be hosted on their site. I'll have to look into this more and ask ProBoards support some questions. At the moment, I'm not sure it could be used outside of the forums or your own website.
Drag and drop anywhere you want and start uploading your images now. 16 MB limit. Direct image links, BBCode and HTML thumbnails. The Simple Image Upload mod enables image uploading on your forum. All images are stored on our fast and secure network so it won't take up any of your bandwidth. Image uploading is very simple and your images will never be removed for inactivity. This mod is perfect solution for forums where visitors are not tech savvy and don't know how to upload image or don't know how to use bbcode.
imgpile -- Free
Free Cloud image hosting. Unlimited Storage. With a free account, you can manage your content, create private albums, customize your profile and more. Upload and share permanent links to Reddit, Voat, Facebook, Twitter, forum, message boards and blogs.
ImageShack -- Paid Membership
They have a 30-day free trial if you'd like to check it out before subscribing. With the free trial, you're given up to 10GB of space, but you will lose the ability to upload and share if not upgraded to one of the following:

nickpic.host -- Free
NickPicHost is an image host created when they realized there was a lack of hosts catering to forums. They had their own forum and were afraid that their many hosted images would begin to disappear from hosts no longer allowing hotlinking. They found that many image hosts are in it for the money, but they are not, operating on the founder's own funds and donations.
They simply wanted a host that was free, easy to use, and allowed hotlinking of graphics. There was a need, thus a service was born. They cater exclusively to small time forum owners who use remotely hosted services, aspiring graphic designers who share their work on forums, and message board users.
They provide unlimited uploads of image files (max size of 8Mb) and bandwidth. You can create albums or upload photos individually. Entire albums can be made private and individually uploaded photos provide the option to make it private on upload only. For more info, check out their FAQ page (clickable link).
Postimage -- Free
This is a mod that can be added to the forums, so I'll check it out in addition to the one above. I'm not providing any info beyond that as it doesn't seem like a good candidate for individual users since you can't create an account and create albums. While all images are private, to delete photos you've uploaded would require searching your long browser history to locate the page that popped up after uploading. So, there's absolutely no user-friendly interface for managing your uploads.
vgy.me -- Free
A free, simple, and easy-to-use image and video hosting service for everybody. The idea of vgy.me was to make the service as simple as possible, so that anyone could upload an image and receive a link to their image in just a few seconds. Features include user accounts, albums, multiple file uploads, and webm video support. They support jpeg, jpg, png, gif, bmp and ico files and allow a max file upload size of 20Mb (very generous indeed). For more info, check out their FAQ page (clickable link).
Village.photos -- Free
Built for everyday users, Village.Photos is your number one destination for storing and sharing your images online. Create an account and have your first image uploaded in less than 60 seconds! Drag and drop multiple images at once, or on older browsers you can upload them one by one.
Direct linking (hotlinking) is allowed, even encouraged, with no restrictions. Use Village.Photos to manage your eBay sales, to post your images on EZ Boards, vBulletin systems or other forums. Embed them or link them into your marketing email blasts, and more.
