Nice Nicole.
My phone seems to be "home bound".
(I dread when I have to get a cell phone. Of course, after last week, when my truck stalled and I managed to steer it to someone's driveway.... I asked if they could call. They looked at me funny because I don't have a cell phone. Worse yet, I didn't know how to use it. They had to dial and get me going.)

You can do it you learned to use a computer; it's a small, portable computer. My regular computer is having problems, so I was able to use my phone to relist a sold item, using the Etsy seller app. I'm using it now; I use it to read and chat and research when I wake up in the middle of the night and everything is quiet--no interruptions. Just lying here in bed, reading and typing.

Life was simpler before. With a cell phone, you are "on" all the time. Can't just go grocery shopping, for example, without someone calling--"Where are you? Will you bring me . . . ?"
But, it's great in an emergency, or when on a day trip, and a buyer has a question. Or, when the Etsy app sends a "Cha-Ching" sound: I made a sale!

I have a small flip open cell phone through Verizon with few bells and whistles. It serves me well as a business phone and for road trip emergencies.

Whoa! Slow down, calicoseas! It sounds like we need to do an intervention and get you into PAA (Phone Addicts Anonymous). LOL My nephew was here this past weekend and I was teasing him about it. When he left his phone in the other room, he asked to use mine and I told him, "No, you won't be abusing my phone, too," and we both just laughed. LOL While I like having the convenience of it, I'll never be one who's glued to my phone like that. It's scary to think yet another form of technology could take up so much of my time and attention like my PC already does. LOL

When my husband and I are at dinner eating out, he's been looking at his phone too much. I like to remind him of how he would say people are glued to their phone. I then tell him he needs to put the phone down. It's a friendly reminder and he does put it down because he knows he used to say it......at dinner time is not the time to be checking out the phone, especially not when I am sitting right in front of him.

at dinner time is not the time to be checking out the phone, especially not when I am sitting right in front of him. As should be common phone etiquette...you would think. It's scary to walk into a room full of people standing around waiting...all with their heads down looking at their phones or staring off into space as they seemingly talk to themselves until you realize they're not crazy after all. LOL It's funny how most people tend to forego the body gestures and even facial expressions when speaking into an invisible microphone to an invisible audience...as if your mere presence wasn't enough to amuse them. Oh wait...sorry...I don't even know you...carry on. LOL
