www.stablehost.com/Despite the name I was to be clear I am in no way associated with this business other than I use it. I have a website with no shopping cart hosted there and have several other domains parked there. I've been there almost 2 years. The few times I needed support they were answered reasonably fast. They are inexpensive.

webzpro.comI have used this hosting service for 5 years and can recommend them for inexpensive shared hosting. They give prompt support. They host two websites for me: hartmannbooks.com (books) and oldpaperworld.com (postcards)

shopify.comI've been using Shopify since December 2018 or so and have to say that this has to be the easiest site set up that I've come across over the years and I've tried several webhosts with site-building tools. It doesn't require ANY HTML experience, but the ability to edit it is there for those who know how. They also have a quality selection of free templates you can use (unlike many of these sites) and easily customize it using their site-builder tools. Of course, as with any new tool/program, it takes some exploring and maybe even some trial and error to learn your way around. However, considering the various places I've tried, I'd have to say that Shopify's set up is very well laid out and easier to learn than most sites.
I have yet to have a need for customer service, so cannot comment on that except to say that they do reach out to you a number of times in the beginning to help get you started. Although, I guess the fact that I haven't had a single need for them in all these months speaks volumes in itself about the quality of their service overall.
I never responded to any of those emails since I didn't need their help, so don't know if that means it will cost money. My experience with other hosts has been that they'll help you for free with general issues, but will charge you if you want to make any coding changes. What's cool about Shopify is that they provide quality free templates that you won't feel you need to make a lot of changes to other than customizing the look and content to suit your brand. As a matter of fact, I was surprised to see just how many tools come with the original set up and even more surprised to find so many free apps to add on that are important to sellers. I've tried a few of them and haven't had any problems so far.
As for customizing the site, I haven't even had to mess with the HTML so far. There are some more custom bits I'd like to add or change, but I also feel comfortable leaving them as is. This is the first time I've found a free template that required so little adjusting to give it a professional look and without even having to touch the HTML. So, that tells me that Shopify is more customer-oriented, truly wanting to make it easy for folks, than other sites I've tried. As does the fact that they provide everything absolutely important to a shop owner upfront (without any add-ons), along with so many free and well-performing add-ons. I really get the feeling that their customers' success is important to them and even key to their mission. I pay approximately $35/mo for their basic service and a $5/mo add-on, which is why it's above the price quoted on their pricing page. I can't remember which one I'm paying for, but will try and remember to check next time I'm there and update this post. For everything they provide and the ease of use, I'd say it's money well spent. So, whether or not you have any HTML experience, I highly recommend Shopify. I know many will consider it pricey, but if you plan to build a business that makes it money well spent, they certainly provide the tools to make it happen.
P.S. -- Y'all know how picky I am about webhosts and I don't believe I've ever given one such a glowing review. LOL

I've worked on a Shopify site for some time now also and thing it is really good also. It is the easiest I have built so far. There are tons of free apps to use to add on to your site which is a big plus for me. The theme I use is a basic free theme, but I have also always favored plain themes with easy navigation and clean layouts. I have cancelled most of my hosting accounts now except this, so it is a net positive for me even if I keep it going. I've had 3 orders just from organic search results and have done zero to market it yet. Here's mine: www.gravity-video.net
