I know some of you have domain names and have them "forwarded" to you website or have your website with the domain/hosting site.
I am still using Doteasy for my domains, but they had made changes back. I use to pay $25/year or $45/2 years and this paid for domain name, hosting and the web builder tools. Now it only pays for the domain and you pay additional for hosting and such.
I want something that is low costing and that I can use to forward to my selling sites.
Everytime I have done some searches on domain costs, they send me in "a fixed listing" of the same sites and I know there are other sites. The "fixed listing" seemed to have specials and then they turn out to me $3/month which is more than just keeping with Doteasy.
I like to find something inexpensive by the year. I have one domain name that I have been asked to sell and I won't - yet. BUT I would like to keep the domain registered and I normally try to renew my domain name for 2/3 years at a time.

$25/year is HIGH for just the domain. I usually get my domains from 1&1 when they have a special going on. I can usually get a domain for $0.99 the first year and then $10.99-14.99/year after that. Right now, GoDaddy has a special for $2.99 for the first year and then $14.99/year after: www.godaddy.com/BUT 1&1 currently has a special for a FREE domain for the first year and $14.99/year after: www.1and1.com/So, I would go with 1&1 if you're just needing a domain to point to an existing site. I don't think I've ever gotten a FREE domain from them before (of course, only the first year is free). If you're needing a place to host your own site, I would look into both 1&1 and GoDaddy, as well: GoDaddy's current pricing for hosting is $4.99, $5.99 or $7.99/mo for the first year and $6.99, $8.99 and $14.99/mo after that: www.godaddy.com/hosting/web-hostingBUT 1&1's current hosting specials are $0.99, $4.99 or $9.99/mo for the first year and $6.99, $9.99 and $14.99/mo after that: www.1and1.com/web-hostingSo, if you're looking for actual hosting of a site, just check out the various features for each of the two's packages -- both include a free domain, so you wouldn't have the annual domain payment. I have yet to see anyone but 1&1 and GoDaddy offer lower pricing on domains or hosting and, at first glance, the hosting packages have a lot of features. I personally have a 1&1 Unlimited package for my other biz and it works great. At the moment, it looks like 1&1 is running the better specials. With 1&1, I believe you have the option of paying annually or quarterly. I pay quarterly for my current site, but paid annually for the PIP site I once had there. I prefer quarterly since it's a smaller chunk.

I use www.iwantmyname.com for a cost of $14.99/year for the domain name. I also use a sub domain for my blog at no extra charge. I pay $1.50/month to www.tictail.com to link that domain to my main website.

Thank you everyone.
I was trying to find something to just hold my domain name since I haven't had the time to work up my own website. I knew there was other places that should be cheaper than what the "new" Doteasy format change is, but all I can find are those that charge monthly fees that ended up more than the $25./year.
Thanks.
PS Yes, I have been weeding gardens and I still have to get my ready for winter now. (And it's cold outside.)
