So just FYI, I know Google trends was mentioned.. but thought I'd throw in a little extra about it, as I've been using it pretty regularly to decide words to use. It's a very simple but very effective at getting a quick, concise perspective on common word usage, and can even be queried per category (like "shopping") For example, in trying to find which word was MOST used, between "Fancy" "Cool" "Funny" and "Simple" it creates a query like: trends.google.com.au/trends/explore?q=Fancy,Cool,Funny,simple and gives a chart which shows how the words rank in order of frequency, and can be limited to certain times (2004-present, last 5 years, last year, etc) Pretty cool! Though I know now that search engines do utilize synonyms, I'm not sure exactly how effective or to what depths they go. Phrases, however, still rank highest.. ("cool bracelet" is better than "cool" and "bracelet")

Actually I've not heard much about Google trends, so this would be a helpful topic for me to hear about. How do I use it and is there a link that takes me in order to use Google trends? Pretty cool! Though I know now that search engines do utilize synonyms, I'm not sure exactly how effective or to what depths they go. Phrases, however, still rank highest.. ("cool bracelet" is better than "cool" and "bracelet") I saw this in your post where you mention synonyms. It is interesting and I'd also like to know more about it. Hopefully someone knows. Cool beanie weanies! LOL At first, I was confused as to how to use it and then "had a V8" (LOL) when I realized that all I had to do was type in my search terms in the "Explore" search box at the top. So I did a quick search for "hallmark ornaments" and am not at all surprised to see that the trends are the same for each of the past five years, peaking during the first week of December. This is so much easier than trying to figure out Google Analytics! Thanks, @stevensmithcis ! I will definitely be using this nifty little tool a LOT. As soon as I get through this massive landscape redesign project, one of my business plans is to rework my listings and get new stuff listed. So this will definitely come in handy. Here's the direct link to the main page: trends.google.com/trends/

Great. Got it.
It looks like since last year at the end of October, Monet jewelry took a hike and has held its ground ever since.
2012 was a record high for Monet.
BUT, steady this past year so far with no dips in low trends like in past years including 2012.
Okay, so I should be selling more. I'm trying to work on that with my SEO and plus I will be listing on prestostore again (yep, Nicole lol).

PickyChickyI've been reading a book on SEO. It is really important to have pages that can connect by links, especially informational pages. While in the midst of reading the book, I felt that it was better to sell on Presto due to needing to have more control over SEO.
