I do it a little bit different...I already use the image on my computer (as I don't delete once it is uploaded..always keep for at least a year after item sells..)
1. I use a spread sheet to hold all the titles and any extra #words that may draw attention to the item..(excel..not necessary if you do not have excel)
2. Use the "get link" when you are logged into presto...the item URL is quite a bit shorter (and it is different than getting listing link through categories or search, because search terms are also in link...and if configuration changes, it becomes a dead link..these show as crawl errors in Webtools...this is also true for anything that was listed and a link is out there, and then you changed it to Not listed in presto..it comes back as a crawl error)
Example: This is the link if I go through the categories...Books, Children's books then click on listing
www.cindybearsden.com/store.php?seller=CindyBearsDen&navt1=146017&navt2=146020&per=36&pd=7553432
This is the URL if I put the search the terms Disney books then click on the listing
www.cindybearsden.com/store.php?seller=CindyBearsDen&Tsearch=Disney%20books&per=36&pd=7553432
This is the link if I click on "get link" from presto view items list.. (when logged in and is the link I use)
www.prestostore.com/store.php?seller=CindyBearsDen&pd=7553432
as you can see the third is quite a few characters shorter (also note the more subcategories or search terms, the longer the link)..
(I just go down the list and get the title and link and move to excel..then work on it)
Then I use the URL shortener option in my TweetAdder (I use bit.ly...you sign up for an account and it gives you key to put in you TweetAdder)..so it becomes bit.ly/1kA5NJ2
3. I do not have photos for ALL my items yet (this one does)...still working on it..so this tweet is now stored in my excel spread sheet with #s for keywords like children, books, Disney, reader... and when I am ready to make a tweet list I transfer to Notepad..
Baby's First #Disney Character books manners home family celebrations bit.ly/1kA5oGF #children #books #reader pic.twitter.com/wNMm4HbjRD
Sometimes I have to drop a few of the #'s once the pic link is added if there are not enough characters
And for reference..moms link...stripped of all the extra stuff search terms
www.momspenniesfromheaven.com/store.php?seller=momspennies%20&Tsearch=%20Vintage%20Little%20Indian%20Boy%20Shot%20Glass%20Se&pd=6462426#.Uv4CCvldUZw
becomes just the listing link...
www.momspenniesfromheaven.com/store.php?seller=momspennies&pd=6462426#.U9ZEeONdXt9
I also have a separate Notepad file for recipes (with shortened URL's), cool quotes, interesting facts and websites of interest, to mix in with the item tweets...
With regards to what is above...I don't use Presto's "Get Link" option because you will get a url that shows "Presto" in it, rather than one that shows your "store name". Remember, it's all about branding. Real people read these tweets.
Even though you take the time to shorten the link, your url will show on Twitter with your store name. The purpose of shortening your link is so that you can have "ONE LINE" tweets on your notepad.
Here is an example of some of my tweets. Notice how short the URLS are after using the "Copy Link Address" on Twitter to capture a shortened link:

I don't store my pictures on my computer. I have way to much going on with research projects and it takes too long to access them in other files or USB's so it's easier for me just to copy a picture already associated to my listing, meaning from the listing itself.
