State and federal governments saw a huge, last-minute surge in Obamacare sign-ups ahead of last Sunday's deadline, boosting total enrollment that surpassed the administration's expectations. Of the 11.4 million Americans who have newly enrolled or re-enrolled in private health coverage through the Affordable Care Act this year, 8.6 million signed up through the federal marketplace and about 2.8 million through state-based exchanges, federal officials said Wednesday. The Department of Health and Human Services had predicted up to 11.2 million enrollees for 2015. The entire article can be found here: www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/02/18/feds-and-states-update-obamacare-enrollments/23609855/Gee, I guess 11+ million people don't realize that Obamacare is a disaster, especially the millions that re-enrolled.

Me neither...they refuse to do anything for me, anyway -- both federal and state.

The news said that among those who signed up from North Carolina, that 91% of those received financial assistance with the Affordable Healthcare Act. I could be wrong, but I think it will be hitting harder for the middle class....whatever the middle class means anymore that is. There is a gray area with middle class unfortunately (in my opinion much of the time).....meaning they say middle class can afford something when in actual reality there is this gray area that keeps them from being able to afford certain things like, possibly, Obamacare.
