I know many are a little intimidated by some of the more advanced formatting features available in posts, but creating a table is actually very easy when using the grid-looking icon in the toolbar. You don't have to know any HTML or BBC code to make it work. Simply follow the instructions below and you'll see just how easy it is:
Just for a visual demonstration, the following table is what you'll get for a 4 column, 2 row table with cellpadding set to 10px, cellspacing set to 20px, and a border applied. NOTE: The system automatically plugs in the row/column text you see, which you'll have to highlight and replace:
Using tables is a nifty way to present your products. You can insert text, images, links and even bullet points within each cell and format the text just as you would outside of the table (font face and size, bold, center text, etc.). So give it a whirl and have fun with it!
- Place the cursor where you want to insert a table and click the icon.
- The Insert Table dialog box will open, which is where you'll set the number of columns, number of rows, cellpadding, cellspacing and border options.
- In the first box, enter the number of columns you want; in the second box, enter the number of rows you want.
- The number you enter in the cellpadding box will control how many pixels of space you want around the inside walls of each box (cell) within the table. Keep in mind that the size of a pixel closely matches the number of points in a font (ie, 10px = 10pt).
- The cellspacing box pertains how many pixels of space you want around the outside of each cell within the table.
- If you want a border, simply check the box next to that option and it will include a preset style border (a 1px black line) around each cell within the table.
- Click the Insert Table button when you're done and voila!

Row 1 column 1 | Row 1 column 2 | Row 1 column 3 | Row 1 column 4 |
Row 2 column 1 | Row 2 column 2 | Row 2 column 3 | Row 2 column 4 |
